Call for Artists – Art Central
“The Good, the Bad, and the Lovely”
WESTERN THEMED EXHIBIT

This exhibit runs from August 5th through October 3rd, 2022
For this open exhibit, we are accepting all mediums! Give us the best of your west! Our region has a rich history of cowboys and grit – We want to see what you think of when you imagine the gold seekers, shantytowns, bucking broncos, golden hills, and chaparral. Find more details in the contract below.
If you are interested in participating, please send an image of your artwork to us at artcentralslo@yahoo.com by July 15th.
To participate, please download and fill out this artist contract and bring it in with your artwork and payment on Aug 3rd between 10 am-4 pm
We are sorry to have to share the sad news that Fredrix Heavy Duty stretcher bars will no longer be available. At this time, we still have inventory on a variety of sizes from 18″ to 72″ and will offer our members great discounts on our available stock. Please stop in and grab some while you still can!

Spencer’s Piñata Demo

Last week our very own Spencer Collins provided an amazing demonstration at Art Center Morro Bay about Piñata Alcohol inks! She’s a fantastic teacher who sparked new interest among attendees. Keep an eye out for her various upcoming classes for kids, teens and everyone else at Art Central!
Piñata Colors are highly saturated, fast-drying alcohol inks for any hard surface, including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, leather, resin, polymer clay, YUPO® and more. Available at Art Central so come check them out!
Workshops and Classes
Please remember that we have a small parking lot. If you are attending one of our demonstrations or workshops, and it is not a physical hardship for you, please park on one of the nearby side streets. We appreciate your consideration.
For more info on each class, click on the class title which will take you to our calendar!
