Hi, all – please forgive this slapdash-quickly-thrown-together-excuse-for-a-blog this week! Our social media maven is taking a well-deserved vacation.

Here is some time-sensitive information – Please look forward to our usual newsy and entertaining blog next week!

Workshops and Classes at Art Central

Bookmaking for Journals or Gifts – One day workshop, July 23rd

Kathy Miller and Ardella Swanberg will present a class on bookmaking. You will learn to make 2 books. One will be a codex and the other will be a triangular accordion book. A codex is what we now think of as a book. It was developed in the Middle Ages and consists of pages bound at the spine and a cover that can be decorated. The accordion book is a piece of folded paper with hard end pieces that protect the paper. It can also be decorated. Both books make great gifts.

Join us Saturday, July 23, 2022, 10:30 AM to 3 PM (with a break for lunch) at Art Central, This class is limited to 8 people so call Ardella at 1(805)234-1754 to reserve your space!
