Meet the artists! Enjoy fine art, hors d’oeuvres and beverages here at Art Central for our Artist Reception and Opening during Art After Dark!
The Painters Group (TPG) brings a variety of styles and mediums to Art Central Gallery. This 2 month show will run from June 7th to July 29th, 2019. With artwork limited in size to 12×12 inches or under, members show off their own unique artistic style in a small format.
The theme of small works was inspired by last year’s Jewelbox exhibition by The Painters Group at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art. Rendering one’s style and medium in a small format proved challenging and fun. The paintings, whether in acrylics, oils, encaustic, watercolor or mixed media, delighted viewers with their charm and accessibility.
The Painters Group is an affiliate of the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art and supports artists at all levels with speakers, critiques and exhibitions.
