A HUGE thank you to Jon of Ellis Cabinets! We now have SO much more room for our canvases and wood panels! We’ve also reorganized and revamped to allow for more space, and we have a new display that will hold up to 48″x72″ canvases – which have been ordered and we expect to see them next week! Local photographer, Dave Coronel, is dedicated to filling plates through his artwork. ALL proceeds from sales of his art go to SLO Food Bank. Dave’s aid has provided 6,125 meals so far! Come check out his work and support a great cause.
Fall Class Kits Available!
While many have been enjoying the lazy days of summer, our staff has been hard at work putting together class kits for the Fall! If you’re taking a class at either Cal Poly or Cuesta in architecture or art, chances are we have a kit for you – and at a great price! Cuesta kits have been assembled and most are available for purchase online. They may be picked up at Art Central. If you don’t see your kit in our online store, please just give us a call!

Plein Air Coastal Artists – Art Center Morro Bay
Join Art Center Morro Bay’s casual group of plein air painters on Wednesdays! This is a self-directed fun group of dynamic artists who enjoy painting and sketching outdoors. The group meets at pre-determined locations each week.

Call for Artists – Art Center Morro Bay – “FACES OF THE CENTRAL COAST”
This very special exhibit is an artistic representation spotlighting a likeness, personality and mood of people and animals, the face of buildings and the beautiful landscapes that make the Central Coast a vibrant community!
Faces can be found along a hillside, imagined in clouds or a reflection from a pool of water. Graffiti, landmarks, horseback riding, ranching, surfing and other local sports are great examples.
