Veterans’ Voices’ 2021 installation, ‘Wings of Change,’ is Central Coast’s largest outdoor butterfly sculpture garden at Paso Robles’ Deprise Brescia Art Gallery ‘til June 30. The collection features dozens of butterflies created by local veterans, their families, & other artists showing the positive & healing impact of art.
Deprise Brescia, founder of Veterans’ Voices offers materials for the ‘Wings of Change’ installation, & on-going weekly butterfly painting classes for all ages. Materials are free to veterans & their families. The public’s invited to make butterflies, too, for a small material fee. This inclusive art program is funded in part by California Arts Council, ARTS Obispo/SLO County Arts, & private donations. San Luis Outdoor Painters for the Environment hosts
“SLOPE Paints the Serene Magic of Santa Rita Ranch”
A Virtual Art Exhibit

To celebrate with The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County their acquisition of this incredible ranch, a 1715-acre jewel at the top of Highway 46 West between the Pacific Ocean and Templeton. The Land Conservancy of SLO will receive a portion of art sale proceeds.

This hour-long video introduces you to this beautiful, natural Central Coast environment and the SLOPE artists who were able to paint the iconic scenes that are now going to be preserved in perpetuity.
