Introduction to oils for teens (painting the Grisaille) with Jonathan Gaetke
Saturdays, October 8^th, 15^th, and 22^nd, 11am-1pm
Fee: $95 for 3 classes.
This class is geared toward students ages 12 to 18 years of age. Artist Jonathan Gaetke believes painting is a skill anyone can learn. Working from direct observation, students will be introduced to basic oil painting skills while learning the grisaille method. Emphasis will be placed on representational painting elements such as drawing, values, edges and composition. Demonstration, exercises and individual instruction at your easel in a fun and supportive environment will provide a solid foundation to create believable works of art in oil.
