staycations are overrated

Hi all –

3/24 – Update to last night’s post:  (See below to read that) – I was at the store today with Chris as awesome first mate, and together we started rearranging the storeroom (which badly needs doing).  We were all set to continue, then the phone started ringing like crazy with requests.  I’m glad we came in – and we’ll be back on Thursday morning for a few hours.  I want to minimize our exposure, and truly appreciate your willingness to let us put your orders together and just give them to you at the door.  If you know what you need, please e-mail us – (read info below) – that does make it easier for us.  But if you have questions, of course, please call.  We’re just asking you for your understanding if we have to put you on hold to pick up another call – with a little patience, we can make this work.  

After we work this Thursday, I’ll determine what hours we can offer for the following week.  Stay posted!

3/23 – I don’t mind a couple of days off, but after 4 days I’ve had enough.  I think enjoying a vacation has a lot to do with knowing you CAN go back to your routine, the ‘daily grind’.

Well, you know what?  I LOVE my daily grind.  And I have been thinking about all the stuff I can do at the shop – inventory counts, stocking shelves, fun stuff like that.

I’ve gotten several e-mails asking for curbside pickup and I am willing to try to offer it.  E-mail me at artcentralslo@yahoo.com, write down what you want, & please include your phone #.  I’ll put your order together – assuming I have what you need… and I will call you with a total and take your Credit card info over the phone.  Credit cards only – no one will be permitted in the store, absolutely no exceptions.

I’ll be at the store tomorrow morning for 3 or 4 hours preparing orders, and will have them ready for curbside pickup. If all goes well, then I’ll be back on Thursday.  If there’s anything you need, please let me know, again email is best.  I don’t believe I will be able to place any orders, so for now, in-stock inventory only.
