Provoked by the critical issues of the past few years, individuals in the Cutting Edge Fiber Arts Group responded by creating art to express their points of view and frustration. “Needling” seemed an appropriate title for these heartfelt works which address politics, war, equality, gun rights, COVID, environmental issues and democratic values.

The Cutting Edge Fiber Arts Group is comprised of fiber and textile artists from the California Central Coast. Members work with a variety of innovative techniques and materials to create art quilts and fiber art that transcend functional craft into the realm of fine art.

Artists’ Reception will be held next Saturday, March 4th from 2-4pm

The artist contract previously stated the exhibit reception would be Friday, April 7th 5-7pm.

Correct Reception date is Saturday, April 8th from 2-4pm***
