Art in the Park – Morro Bay
Looking for something fun to do this Labor Day weekend and escape the heat? Head out to Morro Bay and support local artists at Art in the Park!
Event lasts September 3,4 & 5 from 10:00am to 5:00pm
The proceeds help fund children’s art classes, provide scholarships and other programs throughout the year.

Plein Air Coastal Artists – Art Center Morro Bay
Join Art Center Morro Bay’s casual group of plein air painters on Wednesdays! This is a self-directed fun group of dynamic artists who enjoy painting and sketching outdoors. The group meets at pre-determined locations each week.

Life Drawing – Workshop – Art Center Morro Bay
Put yourself on the pathway to better art! This evening workshop, is open to all adults regardless of experience. Bring your own art supplies and work with medium of choice.
Next workshop takes place Wednesday the 7th, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Models pose for various lengths of time, up to 20 minutes while taking short breaks. There is no instruction.
Sharon Gellerman creates hand-marbled designs on silk and other natural fibers using a process (marbling) that originated many centuries ago.
Using the blank piece of fabric as a canvas, she creates each silk scarf design as a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.

Art Bazaar Rummage Sale – Art Center Morro Bay
Please join the Art Center on October 1st & 2nd for live music, cocktails, mocktails, beer + wine, art supply rummage sale, shopping, raffle, kids craft corner and MORE!
The proceeds from this fun event will go towards giving the gallery and workshop space at the Art Center Morro Bay a more “contemporary facelift”.
New and like new supplies and materials, as well as tools, in good condition, can be donated between September 1st and September 22 during gallery hours.
