This Thursday we had a blast hosting a paint party for the employees of Megan’s Organic Market!
Our fabulous Spencer Collins guided the team as they bonded over their paintings. We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again, it’s not a party without paint!
Open Studio Tours – SLO County Arts
The San Luis Obispo County Open Studios Art Tour, a program of SLO County Arts Council, takes place over two weekends in October each year.
This year’s weekends are October 8th/9th and October 15th/16th
Free to the public, fine artists and crafters open their studios to showcase their art and share their processes. Visitors create their own self-guided tour using the catalog. Stop by Art Central to pick up a catalog!

Plein Air Coastal Artists – Art Center Morro Bay
Join Art Center Morro Bay’s casual group of plein air painters on Wednesdays! This is a self-directed fun group of dynamic artists who enjoy painting and sketching outdoors. The group meets at pre-determined locations each week.

Value Relationship Demo with Harwood “Woody” Benton – CCWS

Art Bazaar Rummage Sale – Art Center Morro Bay
Please join the Art Center on October 1st & 2nd for live music, cocktails, mocktails, beer + wine, an art supply rummage sale, shopping, raffle, kids craft corner, and MORE!
The proceeds from this fun event will go towards giving the gallery and workshop space at the Art Center Morro Bay a more “contemporary facelift”.
How to Draw Animals and Write Haiku with George Asdel – Art Center Morro Bay
George will be basing Haiku poetry on the drawings made during this event, artwork on exhibit or other images! This is referred to as ekphrastic or poetry based on another art form.
