CALL FOR ARTISTS!

For this open exhibit, we are looking for artwork priced at $100 or less to tempt our holiday shoppers. All mediums and themes accepted. See more details in the contract below.

To participate, please download and fill out this artist contract
and bring it in with your artwork on Nov 29th between 10am-4pm

Artist Reception will be Saturday, Dec 2nd from 4-7pm, during the 2nd annual Holiday Treasure Stroll (more info to come!)

Custom Canvas Stretching

Need an unusual sized canvas? Josh is the man – He does custom canvas stretching of ANY size!

Josh will only stretch unpainted (primed or unprimed) canvas – won’t stretch artwork – thanks for understanding!

Craftmakers includes a variety of artists who work in fiber, clay, glass, metal, paper, and found objects. First formed in the mid-70s, the group exhibited work at the San Luis Art Center (now SLOMA), held meetings and classes, and offered studio visits. Craftmakers is now a member of the Central Coast Artists Collective, striving to enliven the art scene with imaginative pieces created with originality and skill.

Fall is here and October is nigh, join us at Art Central for #artober with our first official daily art challenge!

How it goes:

1) Join in on the daily prompts! Do it everyday, every other day, or even weekly. No pressure to complete the whole month, only creativity & good vibes 🙂

2) Use any medium you want! Stick with your favorite or try something new.

3) Tag us @artcentralslo & use our hashtags to connect with other artists #artober #artcentralslo #acslotober

4) We’ll be featuring our community’s work in our blog & Instagram; make sure to follow us on both!
