Artist Reception held Saturday, July 8th from 3-5pm!

After retiring from a long career with the Department of Defense, Eileen Shibley took her first art class. She knew her life was about to change as the three-hour class flew by in what seemed to be 20 minutes. Eileen’s book As I See It meshes social issues with whimsical images using vivid descriptions to create an imaginative world.

“My art is my escape into the world of the possible. I see life in bright, bold colors, and my art reflects that vision and perspective” (Shibley 133).
