FREE ACRYLIC PAINTING DEMO!
with Rachel Corvese
Inspiration, presentation, and conversation: What is Visionary Art?
Saturday, April 23rd at 1 pm
Then… if you can, stay for her Acrylic workshop from 2-4pm, for only $25!
Save your spot today (for demo and/or workshop) by contacting Rachel Corvese at raisedcreations@gmail.com

In this Demo, we’ll talk about big names in visionary art, where they came from, how they got here, and how we can tap into the inspiration that they thrive off of.
Participants of the demo are encouraged to bring a donation of canned/dry food for a food drive.
Stay afterward to participate in a magical acrylic painting journey! For $25, you’ll be guided through a small painting, and leave with insight on how to navigate your own bigger and brighter projects. Purchase a canvas from Art Central or bring your own; all brushes and paints will be provided!
Thank you to everyone for supporting our exhibit
“SLOPE Honors Pristine Coastal Visions”
We enjoyed an amazing Artist reception this past Saturday! If you missed it, we encourage you to come and take a look at this exhibit – thru May 30th!

A portion of all painting sales will benefit the proposed Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary in moving from the nomination phase to being designated as a National Marine Sanctuary. SLOPE has chosen to contribute toward this process because of the many benefits to our central coast area in their goal to protect our beautiful coast. This will be accomplished through better water quality, protection of wildlife and sustainable fishing, prevention of oil spills through a ban on oil leasing and development and protection of indigenous sites. Benefiting from the time-tested indigenous knowledge of coastal areas, a sustainable future for our coast will be insured. Visit ChumashSanctuary.org to learn more.
SLOPE is a group of professional artists working with local and national organizations to create artworks depicting the beauty and uniqueness of California’s Central Coast. Their art is used to draw public attention for the purpose of raising awareness and generating funds for preserving local lands for open space, wildlife, and ecologically respectful recreation, ranching, and farming.
