With that said, welcome to this week’s

Virtual Gallery

“Indulgence is Irresistible” by Patti Robbins
36 x 30 oil on linen.

“This is one of my ‘covid’ paintings. My muse was a documentary on Art Deco Hotels. It took me two months to collect some of the Art Deco items, most of them I already owned.
It took 2 months to paint it. It is not for sale… Hangs in our dining room.
PS I don’t smoke cigarettes!”
-Patti Robbins
Riki Schumacher
“Mystic Surroundings”
Cold wax and oil
12×12” on multimedia board

“Working through about six layers of various colors, a result of an online workshop. I decided to grab some white and develop a winter scene. It feels like it is right out of a fairy tale illustration to me. I spent a long time on the white layer, adding and subtracting, until I felt it gave a moody, ephemeral feel to it. I’ll be grabbing my Titanium White more often!
Thanks!!” -Riki
“Forward Gaze” by Laurie Lackland
Print of her collage, 8×10″ Print

“the collage is made from images I cut from a New Yorker magazine issue story on racial protests over the years. I made it during the trial of Derek Chauvin. I wanted to portray a sense of forward motion and hope from grassroots protests of police brutality and discrimination over the years.”
-Laurie Lackland
