Ever wonder where your donated used art supplies go to after our fundraiser sale?

Not only were we able to raise money for scholarships, all leftover supplies were then donated to local art teachers to help continue their art programs! – THE GIFT THAT KEEPS GIVING!

“I teach art at El Padrecito Ministries in Guadalupe. Our students are ages 7-10. A couple of weeks ago, my friend Linda and I came to your store and picked up some free art supplies following your yard sale.

These are 2 art projects we did using those supplies. The yellow paper for the seal project and the paper for the doors, windows, and flags on our sandcastles came from your yard sale.

Thank you for donating to our program! We have been providing free after-school art classes to children in Guadalupe for almost 4 years. Donations like yours help us continue our program.”

With appreciation,
-Kate Miller

Have you heard about the Central Coast Artists Collective?

Three of the former SLOMA artist groups– Sculpture, Craft, Painting, and Photography– came together to support member artists in a collaboration to deliver information, opportunities, and services. The Artists Collective’s mission is to provide an umbrella of administrative assistance to our Member Artist Groups, including a continuing connection with San Luis Obispo Museum of Art to develop mutually beneficial services. The Central Coast Artists Collective is a non-profit organization. Visit their site with the link below.
