Join Spencer on Mondays through Dec. 18th from 3:30-4:30pm for beginning drawing for kids!

This class series is designed to teach students ages 6-12 the important basic building blocks of drawing. Students learn about various drawing techniques and materials such as graphite, charcoal, and paint pens!

Spencer goes over all the fundamentals in this ongoing weekly class series. Students will learn how to draw things from life, including animals, places, and people!

Looking for a class for yourself? Consider…

In this 5 class series you’ll practice a few simple principles that can help you create more compelling paintings. These principles transcend genre and style because they are principles of art.

Class meets Thursdays, Oct 5th – Nov 2nd (5 classes), 10:30am -1:30pm

You’ll use pen and paper and oil paint to do the exercises. Desire to improve your craft is the only prerequisite! All levels are welcome.

Creative Volunteers Needed!

The Elks Lodge in San Luis Obispo puts on a haunted house and carnival every year that’s free and open to the public! This year the theme will be “Lodge” with a reception, ballroom, lounge/bar, and much more. In order to fulfill their vision, the group is looking for artistic volunteers to help with creative direction!

They’re hoping to find one or more energetic creative individuals who can assist Saturday & Sunday, October 21st & 22nd, and then some evenings on the following days leading up to the event (to be held Friday & Saturday, October 27th & 28th).

For more info please contact Nancy at (805) 543-0322 or elks322boo@gmail.com

North County artist Mandy Weathers is hosting an art show dedicated to aiding women and their children in San Luis Obispo County who are seeking a safe place. The show aims to allocate 75% of net art sales to support women’s shelters within the county.

Stop by Joebella Coffee Roasters in Atascadero to view the collection from now until the end of October.
