NEW FROM POSCA

POSCA has added new colors to their range!

In select sizes we’ve got Khaki Green, Navy Blue, Fuchsia, Dark Red, Dark Brown, Deep Grey, Ruby Red, English Green, Prussian Blue, Cacao Brown, Ochre, Raspberry, Sunshine Yellow, Apricot, Lavender, Aqua Green, Coral Pink, Sky Blue, Apple Green, Light Pink, and Glacier Blue!

Also new from POSCA is the MOP’R! MOP’R features a round foam rubber tip and innovative barrel design for a generous application of color. Create large drawings horizontally or vertically with the MOP’R. It can be used right side up for finer details or upside down for high link flow. It’s perfect for creating splashes, stamps, spray effects, drips, highlights and more. Lines between 3mm and 19mm can be achieved depending on the angle of the tip.

Check out this video for techniques you can use with the MOP’R marker!

After retiring from a long career with the Department of Defense, Eileen Shibley took her first art class. She knew her life was about to change as the three-hour class flew by in what seemed to be 20 minutes. Eileen’s book As I See It meshes social issues with whimsical images while using vivid descriptions to create an imaginative world.

“My art is my escape into the world of the possible. I see life in bright, bold colors, and my art reflects that vision and perspective” (Shibley 133).

We hope you can join Eileen on the 29th here at Art Central! Please send us an e-mail letting us know if you think you’ll be able to attend – artcentralslo@yahoo.com.
