Hi! First of all, a VERY heartfelt thank-you-SO-much! to those of you who came to our 1st Anniversary Event… It was such a success – and we hope that you enjoyed it! I know that our manufacturer’s reps really enjoyed showing off their products to everyone, and although Lauren, Logan, Tara and I never stopped running around all day, we all agreed that it was a lot of fun. Give me a few more days to catch my breath, and I’ll be ready to start planning another event!
One of the things I had put on the back burner until the Anniversary Event was behind me was the creation of a workshop & class schedule. Some of you teachers have already told me that you would be interested in teaching here. If you are interested, but haven’t let me know, please do! I’ll be sending out an e-mail outlining my ideas to all interested parties. Once we have something in place, we can start advertising it to our customers!
Another thing I’d like to do is to have a “demo” day – something to show off artists’ skills with particular products, as well as the ability to explain how to use them. I have some ideas for supplies to do demos with, but I am looking for talented artists to show them off – anybody interested? Please e-mail me if you would like to participate.
Hopefully you saw our Call for Artists for our April Gallery exhibit “Fur, Feathers & Fins”. Second Chance at Love Humane Society is a wonderful organization, and we are excited about the opportunity to help them raise funds. Please remember – ANY animal art is great – doesn’t have to be canine, and sculpture is welcome!
We hope to see you soon!
