A breath of fresh…. creativity?

“I’ve been catching up with my garden since I sort of let it slip while I was working on the Garden Farms kids rocks.  But here’s what I did last week (attached.)  I get my milk in the 1/2 gal glass bottles from Strauss, and they EXPLODE when they break – glass shards fly EVERYWHERE!  I might have mentioned it to you, that I was looking for someone who crocheted to make me a bag that would hold them apart so they don’t clank together.  I couldn’t find anyone and am too cheap to pay what they want on Etsy, but in searching I came across macrame and ‘voila!’ that was the answer.  So I made these for myself and now I have 2 of the bigger ones to fit the 1/2 gal bottles and a smaller pint size bag for cream.”

“Here are prints I made in honor of the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment.  I’m printing 100, of course. The slogans are from old suffrage posters.”

How The Printmaker’s Group
is staying active:

The Printmaker’s group are staying in touch during lock down. We are printmakers who love to work with paper, so no Zoom meetings for us! We are using paper and Snail Mail! Fourteen printmakers signed up to be involved in this project and we are mailing a print with a note about what is happening in our lives via snail mail on the same day each week. We started with the person below our names on the list and are working our way down. We all really look forward to receiving this very special mail each week. The range of work and creativity is so interesting and inspiring.

      Hi Dee you should have received an email about it but we extended the end date again! So if you can please pick up your artwork by Sep 28th that would be great!
