ART CENTRAL WANTS TO HELP THE HUNGRY AND LESS FORTUNATE IN OUR COMMUNITY

WE WILL CONTINUE TO ACCEPT DONATIONS THROUGH APRIL 15TH

We believe no one should go without food or the opportunity to express their creativity!

Art Central has come up with a way to both raise funds for our local food pantries and get art supplies into the hands of children from disadvantaged families.  We are asking our community for help.

Click the donate today button to the right to donate $10.  100% of these donations will go to fill our local community food pop-up pantries. Art Central will match each $10 donation with a gift bag of art supplies to be donated to disadvantaged students at Pacheco Elementary School.

We were on KSBY! Check out their interview with us below

A huge thank you to those of you who have generously contributed!

Now please enjoy this week’s fruitful

Susan Robinson

“I have actually had time in the studio in the last month. What a treat! I can’t seem to tear myself away from pastels. All of these are pastel on 8×10. I love painting Poppy and Zip but when I want to branch out I have to rely on photos I took of our previous dogs (Woof, Roo, Imp, Max, Radar, and Sashi) or our visiting dogs. Reggie and his family were the first visitors we had had for a year. They were most welcome.. I hope to make an Art Central visit this week!”

“A Magical Place” by Bobbye West-Thompson
16 x 12″, Pastel on Sanded Art Spectrum Paper.
“This image was from a reference photo I took at the Oaks Preserve early one morning. The foreground was totally dark so lots of artistic license was used.  However, the light filtering through the trees seemed magical – therefore the title. Thanks, Etty, for allowing artists to share their work on your virtual gallery page.”

Children’s Classes with June Li:

“As a mother, I feel a special connection to children and supporting their creativity. It is so beautiful to share with them the world of possibilities of color, line, shape, and expression, watching their delight as they create something of their very own.
I know that during this time, kids and families are experiencing some of the most difficult times, with school being mostly online and parents juggling a lot more than ever before.
Painting and making art together can deeply help soothe the stress and anxiety of life, bringing balance, joy and wonder.
